The Pro Motion summer scheme for disabled and disadvantaged young people was created from funding support from the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust and delivered by Motion Control Dance during the summer holidays in 2017.

15 participants took part in the holiday scheme to create a dance film based upon isolation and the importance of friendships.

The members learnt new skills and gained new friendships during the project which broadened their horizons and raised their self esteem.

The film they created was placed on the world wide web as a reminder of a wonderful experience that was had by all.

This project was co-ordinated and delivered by professional dance tutors Lara Ward and Alex Marshall-Parsons.
