On Feb 4th dancers from Motion Control Dance took part in a fundraising event for Lacey – Mae, a 4yr old girl from Barry who has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour and has lost her sight, by undertaking a mannequin challenge and danceathon.
The day also celebrated the birthday memorial of Robert Mallam (our director’s late husband) who died of a brain tumour back in 2004.
At the same time Ian Bishop (a Motion Control Dance Dad) attempted a new world record by punching a bag – over 22,000 punches were made over 5 and half hours!
Thank you to everyone who supported this charitable community event by sharing and sponsoring one of our dancers
