Sam GrifithsDisability Dance Project Worker

My name is Sam Grifiths and my love of dance began at the age of 3 attending a local dance school in South East London. When we moved to Barry I had to keep dancing so joined Anthea King School of Dance. At Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School I began taking dance seriously and gained a GCSE and A-Level in Dance. From here I attended the Full time course at Rubicon Dance Cardiff,  Then went onto Coventry University with a degree of Bachelor of Arts with Upper Second Class in Dance and Professional Practice. Since leaving university in 2007 I have been freelancing as a Dance Tutor. I have taken part in various Sports Leaders and Sports Council Wales courses. Also trained to become a Youth Worker and Learning Support Assistant.  I now am the project worker in charge of the disability dance sessions at Motion Control Dance.
